Russian Women And Their Unique Mentality
The word women, when said aloud, will make most people think of their own mother. A loving, caring warm person in your life. And as people spend the majority of their young life with the mother, most people expect all women to be exactly the same. But sadly this is not the case. Since the time of feminism Western women have changed to become much more independent and focused on their careers. The same cannot be said of Russian women though.
The mentalities of Eastern people can be likened to that of Western peoples from many years ago. This cannot be said of every single person but in general it’s true. Every individual has their own ideas but women from Russia can be found to share similar traits of personality. And it’s these things that they have in common that make them believed to be the most sensitive and feminine around.
When you look at the history of Russia the women have always stood out. Without women, the communities and families would not have withstood all the hard times they have had to face. And it’s in times like those that a persons true character will come out. Their culture is thought to be one of the most caring and protective in the world. And this is why Russian hostesses have gained the reputation of being the most hospitable there is.
A contributing factor to this mentality is communism. All of the older generation were raised in a communist country which gave them very strong family values. As well as this, they were raised to believe in giving to the community, responsibility and self dedication. They believe that giving help to others is the most important thing they can do, even more important than themselves. And these values have been, and will continue to be, passed down from mother to child.
The men from Russia have grown up with these women all their lives, and so take their loving and caring nature for granted. Many of the wives are treated very badly as the men just do not know how to treat them. In general, it is expected for women to work a full time job, prepare all the meals, take care of the children and the home all by themselves.
Western influences are increasingly finding a way into Russian culture. And as this happens, the women are beginning to see that men’s attitude to women is much better in the Western world. The stories of Russian women making comfortable and happy lives in other countries are becoming more and more common. Almost all have a friend, or a friend of a friend who is currently living abroad and could not be happier.
They are starting to realize that they deserve better when they hear from their happier friends. These women only want to dedicate their lives to a husband who is loving and caring and will do anything to make him happy. And they are starting to find this abroad, particularly in the Western part of the world.
