Georgia, like many southern states is rich in historical significance and, especially Atlanta, has played an important role in the history of the United States. It is beautifully accentuated with Spanish moss hanging from giant oak trees, blooming azalea bushes and cobblestoned streets between antebellum style houses. Savanna is the probably the only American city to be gifted to the US president. Even General Sherman was so spellbound with Savannas beauty that he not only spared Savanna, but presented it for Christmas to the presiding head of state Abraham Lincoln.

Although the city has evolved into the 22nd century along with the rest of the state, its soft southern elegance still lingers like a faint aroma lending elegance and charm to its streets. From Boasting music varying between blues, jazz and alternative, to historic tours in museums, Savanna offers everything and more.
